Sun-dried Tomato Basil Hummus

Sweet basil, savory sun-dried tomatoes, and creamy chick peas beautifully paired, easy to make, and so perfect for football season! This hummus will be a hit with all the fans!



Sun-dried Tomato Basil Hummus


1 can Chick peas, drained

2 Tbsp Filtered water

1/2 cup Sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil (10-12)

3 Tbsp Sun-dried tomato oil

1/4 cup Tahini

1/4 cup Fresh Lemon juice

1 Tbsp Coconut aminos

1-2 Cloves Garlic

1/4 cup Fresh Basil leaves

1 tsp Sea salt

1/8 tsp Black pepper (opt)

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (opt)

Filtered Water


Directions:


In a food processor, add all ingredients and process until smooth. If hummus is too thick, add 1 Tbsp water until thinned to consistency you desire. Serve with fresh veggies, pita, or as a spread on a sandwich!
