1 Whole Chicken
2 tsp Sea salt
1 tsp Black pepper
1 Tbsp of your favorite seasoning
8-10 oz Apple cider
Heat smoker to 250
Add cider to a regular mouth 16oz mason jar to make a little chicken throne. I like this method of smoking as the liquid keeps the chicken more moist throughout the smoking process.
Rub spice over chicken and in cavity. Fit chicken over jar and place on smoker. Smoke for about 2.5-4 hours until breast temperature reaches 165. Remove and let rest 5-minutes before serving or let cool and debone for chicken salad.
