Simple Asian Slaw with Sesame Vinaigrette

This colorful and crisp slaw has a nutty sesame dressing and pairs beautifully with Korean Flank Steak!

Simple Asian slaw

2 cups Green Cabbage, shredded

2 cups Purple Cabbage, shredded

2 Carrots, shredded

1/2 Red bell pepper, julienned

1/2 Yellow bell pepper, julienned

1/2 cup Sesame vinaigrette


Shred cabbage with a mandoline slicer or with a sharp knife. Shred carrots and julienne bell peppers.

Combine all veggies in a medium bowl and toss with vinaigrette, serve and enjoy!

Sesame Vinaigrette

1/3 cup Rice Wine Vinegar

2 Tbsp Fresh Lime juice

1 Tbsp Pure Maple syrup

1/3 cup Avocado oil

2 Tbsp Sesame oil

1 Tbsp Coconut aminos

1 tsp Fish sauce

1 tsp Fresh Ginger, grated

1 Garlic Clove, grated

1/8 tsp Black pepper

1 Tbsp Sesame seeds (opt)


Combine all ingredients in a jar with a lid. Shake well and let sit at room temperature for about an hour before using. If making well ahead, refrigerate until ready to use.
