Authentic Chimichurri Sauce

Once you've had Chimichurri, you will want it eat it with everything! It is so good with chicken, fish, eggs, on a sandwich and as a salad dressing!





Authentic Chimichurri Sauce


1/2 Red Onion

1-2 Cloves Garlic

1 Bunch Italian Parsley, thick stems removed (about 1.5 cups)

1 Bunch Cilantro, thick stems removed (about 1/2 cups)

2 Tbsp Red Wine vinegar

1/2 tsp Crushed Red pepper

1/2 cup EVOO

1 tsp Sea salt

1/2 tsp Black Pepper


Directions:


Make at least 1 hour before eating to allow flavors to combine!


In a food processor add vinegar, onion and garlic. Pulse until finely chopped. Add herbs and pulse until fully combined (taking time to wipe down bowl as needed)


Place in jar and add crushed red pepper, S&P and EVOO, stir together and set on counter for an hour before serving. If making ahead refrigerate until ready to eat. Serve over steak, chicken or grilled vegetables! Will keep in refrigerator up to a week!
